For me, this organization has not only made me a better professional but it’s made me a better person, husband, and friend.  I’ve made some lifelong friends along the way and look forward to continuing my involvement.

Over the past 20 years as an FES member, as well as serving as a board of director, committee member and MathCounts Coordinator, etc. I am extremely grateful for all the leadership opportunities within this great organization. Through interactions with fellow FES leaders, engineers, members, volunteers, students, teachers, coaches and parents in MathCounts, I have practiced and improved my leadership and organizational skills. All these activities also promote Engineering and Science to our communities, which is a subject that I care deeply about, and brings me great fulfillment.

My involvement in FES has led me to meet many professional engineers, and has been a great source to begin networking within the engineering community. After 2 years as a student member, I’ve come to see that I’m studying something I am passionate about, and am excited about the future of working in the professional world of engineering.
