Anabel Perez is a young civil engineer with experience in transportation engineering, who graduated from Florida International University in Spring 2022. During her time at the university, she worked as an intern at WSP for three years, specializing in bridge inspection and design. After graduation, Anabel joined Technika Consulting, where she currently works on FDOT and MDC projects, gaining experience in roadway design, signalization, and related fields. In addition to her work at Technika, Anabel had the opportunity to work in FDOT District VI as an in-house consultant, being involved in roadway reconstruction projects.

Alongside her work at Technika, Anabel is an active member of professional organizations such as ASCE, C-AACE, and FES. She has assisted the FES Communication Director with social media postings, receiving recognition during the 2023 Board Installation Dinner for her contributions. An enthusiastic engineering intern, Anabel recently passed her PE Transportation exam. Outside of work, Anabel enjoys reading, being in nature, and spending time with friends and family.
