Fernando Gomez, PE is a seasoned Civil Engineering professional with over 38 years of experience, specializing in complex infrastructure projects across both public and private sectors. As an alumnus of the University of Miami, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering (BSAE). His professional credentials include licenses as a Professional Engineer and a Professional Surveyor & Mapper in the state of Florida.
Currently, he is a Principal at AllBright Engineering Inc., formerly known as Snubbs Consulting. His expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of engineering functions, including highway design, work zone traffic control, traffic operations, channelization, and signalization.
Fernando has played an active role in the Florida Engineering Society Miami Chapter, serving on its board for twelve years and contributing to various committees and volunteer initiatives. His outstanding service and leadership have recently earned him the prestigious FES Fellow Membership at both the State and Chapter levels.
In his personal life, Fernando enjoys cycling and is an avid supporter of the Miami Dolphins and the University of Miami football teams. He is a dedicated family man, father to four, and grandfather to five, celebrating the birth of his youngest grandchild, Oscar Gomez, in November 2022.
