Wendy Conforme, PE is the Chief Executive Officer of the Port Miami tunnel (Winner of Best Operational Project by P3 Bulletin), the first woman leading a North American asset for Meridiam. She is a highly experienced professional in transportation infrastructure, including designing, building, and managing major, tunnel, bridge, and highway projects. Wendy is experienced in alternative delivery contracting methods, including Public Private Partnerships (P3), Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Maintain, and Design-Build contracts.

Wendy is a licensed professional engineer, who early in her career won the Florida Engineering Society’s “Young Engineer of the Year Award”. She has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering. In 2019, she graduated with an Executive MBA from Florida International University. Wendy is a subject matter expert in P3 asset management of heavy civil infrastructure. As the second economic engine in Miami-Dade County, Port Miami contributes more than 60 billion dollars of total economic activity to the local economy, yearly. Together with her team and Port partners, Wendy strives to support the Port by keeping the tunnel running smoothly to ensure cruise and cargo mobility and trade to and from Port Miami.

Wendy volunteers to speak and is involved in various STEM programs throughout the Miami area.
