ANDREW PIERCE, PE
Andrew Pierce is a Senior Project Manager with EAC Consulting and currently serve as the Deputy Program Director for Miami Dade Expressway Authority General Engineering Consultant (GEC-B) Contract and is responsible for the management of the construction program for the $860 M MDX Five Year Work Program that includes capital and renewal & replacement projects, a position he has held since 2015.In this capacity, Andrew is responsible for managing the planning and construction of tolled expressway projects for MDX. Responsibilities include the management and of construction projects, implementing quality control procedures for the work program and program controls, procurement support, providing training to project managers and program management software development and implementation.
Andrew has over 30 years of experience in transportation related engineering and management. He began his career with the New York City Transit Authority has a project engineer inspecting and maintaining tunnels and bridges followed by over 20 years as a consultant managing the design and construction of transportation facilities and infrastructure projects in Florida such as the P&O Ports Redevelopment Program at the Port of Miami and American Airlines North Terminal Development at Miami International Airport. His experience also includes providing project management oversight services for federally funded Federal Transit Administration transit projects such as Crenshaw /LAX Transit Corridor and Indy GO Transit Center
He holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York and MS in Transportation Planning and Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York. He is a registered engineer in the states of FL, NY & NJ and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
