Enit Medina, PE is a Project Engineer and Stakeholder Member for Pevida Highway Designers, LLC (PHD), an Ardurra Company. PHD is a firm that specializes in innovative transportation solutions.

She has more than 9 years of professional engineering experience working on many conventional, design-build and cost savings initiative projects. During her time at PHD, she has excelled in Maintenance of Traffic and very large Design-Build Contracts. She has successfully managed and completed designs for a wide range of civil engineering and transportation projects in South Florida, including high-profile projects such as: I-395/SR 836/I-95 Reconstruction Design-Build for D6 in Miami-Dade County, I-95 Express Lanes Phase 3A-2 and 3B-1 for D4 in Broward/Palm Beach County, Tamiami Trail Phase 2 project for D6 and SR-836 New HEFT Ramp Connections for MDX. Her duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, project management, supervising a team of roadway engineers, client relations and engineering designs. Additionally, she is involved in the development and application of innovative concepts and techniques used to successfully compete for public advertisements.

As a company leader and stakeholder member, Enit meets with the entire executive team and is also involved in all strategic planning for the company transportation group. One of her stronger roles is cultivating an environment for learning and teaching about the engineering field. She developed a companywide training program called “PHD Engineering Talks” that its main goal is to bridge the gap technically between the Senior and Junior staff. She is also the developer and organizer of “PHD Brown Bags” for the staff to share knowledge.
