Mr. Fernando Gomez has over 31 years of professional experience in Civil Engineering projects in both in the public and private sectors. A graduate of the University of Miami with a BSCE and a BSAE, Fernando holds registrations as both a Professional Engineer and a Professional Surveyor& Mapper in Florida. He is a Principal of Snubbs Consulting Inc.

His areas of specialty include highway design, work zone traffic control, traffic operations /channelization, and signalization. He has been active in the Miami Chapter of the FES, serving on the board since 2009. He has served on the Awards Committee, Future City Competition, MathCounts Competition, and most recently as Chapter Treasurer.
