FERNANDO V. GOMEZ, PE

Fernando has over 31 years of professional experience in Civil Engineering projects in both in the public and private sectors. A graduate of the University of Miami with a BSCE and a BSAE, Fernando holds registrations as both a Professional Engineer and a Professional Surveyor& Mapper in Florida. He is a Principal of Snubbs Consulting Inc.

His areas of specialty include highway design, work zone traffic control, traffic operations /channelization, and signalization. He has been active in the Miami Chapter of the FES, serving a Chapter Director. He has served on the Awards Committee for 10 years-often as Committee Chairman. As an FES member he has also volunteered in the Future City and Math Counts competitions.
