Juan Prieto, PE, PMP is Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Nova Consulting, specializing in Civil and Environmental Engineering Consulting Services in Miami-Dade County. Mr. Prieto is a Registered Professional Engineer in Florida, New York, Maryland and Virginia, and holds a BS and MS in Civil Engineering and a MS in Construction Management. He has over 25 years of experience in water resources and transportation. Mr. Prieto has been adjunct lecturer at FIU and has actively worked in the industry as contractor, design consultant, and as government employee for a myriad of infrastructure projects. He has been responsible for providing planning, design, bid documentation, construction and overall project management services for multiple clients including US Army Corps of Engineers, Florida Department of Transportation, South Florida Water Management District, and Miami-Dade County.
