Martine Fils-Aime, PE is a project manager with Atkins an SNC-Lavalin Company. She has over 16 years of experience that includes designing and producing estimates for major projects. Ms. Fils-Aime graduated from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University with a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. She serves as one of the lead technical professionals for the roadway design group in the Miami office, specializing in horizontal and vertical geometric design meeting state and local municipality standards. In addition to roadway design, Ms. Fils-Aime has experience supporting highway and transit projects during the Project Development and Environment phase. She has provided design and review services for various major FDOT transportation projects in Districts One, Four, Six, and Seven. She has also worked with local municipalities such as Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Sarasota Counties. Ms. Fils-Aime has been an active member of the Florida Engineering Society (FES) since 2006, serving as the MATHCOUNTS committee chair for the Tampa Chapter for over 5 years. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. volunteering for programs that benefits disadvantaged youths.
