Mrs. Sybille Bayard is a Florida registered professional engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Penn State University. Early in her career, she developed a passion for transportation, particularly in bridge design. Her professional experience includes projects for the Florida Department of Transportation, the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority, Miami-Dade County, and several other municipalities throughout the United States and abroad. She currently works at CONSOR Engineers where she has led the Miami Kendall Office for the past 6 years. Sybille has taken a more active role in the FES Miami Chapter as she served last year in the Board of Directors; she regularly participates in board meetings, has volunteered in MathCounts and Future City Competition, conducted mock-up interviews for college students and led presentations and panel discussions at FIU. Sybille also helped establish the University of Miami FES student chapter. She graduated last summer from the Florida Engineering Leadership Institute (FELI). As Sybille continues to grow her career, she has gained a fondness in mentoring younger engineers and in becoming a more active and inspiring leader in the engineering community.
